.... that every football game will have several minutes of commentary on "BLM, social justice, systemic racism, etc." by the commentators every game.
I watched several games over the weekend, and heard it on every single game.
I will be curious to see how long this policy continues, and whether or not it increases or decreases in duration and intensity, over the coming weeks.
But, it is clear that every broadcast team has been instructed to talk about the problems with race relations in this country and what the NCAA and NCAA football coaches and players are doing to end systemic racism in this country.
I'm not pointing this out to start a long political discussion. (I post plenty of political messages on my home board. I try very hard not to discuss politics where I am a guest.)
Just letting y'all know that if you only watched one game, or maybe 2, it wasn't an isolated incident. Get used to it. You will hear it on every game this weekend.

Does discussing it on a cfb telecast hasten the legislation needed for change? I believe it prevents legislation as it hardens people against it. Also, will they talk about training people not to fight or otherwise threaten the police? Seems that is a common theme...

will pay attention. Then they speak out against all the violence, against the BLM group's political motivations, I will listen. All lives matter, and much needs to be done to ensure things improve on both sides of the various racial divides. When they actually start having a logical, productive, respectful, open dialogue on real solutions to make things better, count me in. Until then, I'll keep them muted and watch without the blathering.

I found the mute button came in handy last week. I find I really don’t need announcers. I did miss crowd noise/bands. Also found the announcers ran out of hot air after 20 minutes or so.

When they go around saying #### white people it does kinda say that. So pardon me if I have a problem with this. For so called educated people on this board you have a very difficult time understanding what is going in when it's right in front of your face. Black people have taken this stance that only their lives matter. I can tell you this though they will run up on the wrong group one day and you will see just how much their lives matter to said group. Really wish they would leave the political BS out of college football..... politics and sports should not mix just like politics and religion should not .......but everything has become political now and I really hate it......the only sport I have left to enjoy is college football but now it appears that has also been corrupted by politics......and the only way I will be able to watch the game now is to MUTE the frigging TV......if I decide to turn it on at all.....Go Tigers!!!!

Use the mute button. Make note of every advertiser. Write or call every advertiser and tell them your concern and tell them that you saw that they advertised, but didn't hear a word about their product and you won't until this ends. You could go so far as to tell them you are boycotting. Be proactive. Things happen when you get into people's wallets.
