NC State Travel Issues?

Sep 30, 2022, 12:42 PM

My family in Raleigh area says the area is getting nervous and Ian, although a little weaker by then, is expected to cause damage and dump lots of water. Flights are being canceled and major highways are making some adjustments

Our Tigers up in NC hearing anything?

Take a boat then.

Why wouldn’t Nancy’s Tate already be at some hotel in Greenville?

I am just south of Charlotte and it is pretty much light rain with occasional gusts. Lots of leaves on the ground but thats about it. It seems like it is business as usual for everyone, I am working from home but lots of people out and about.

That’s what I was thinking.
Plus I agree they should’ve left this morning

I live in theBlue Ridge Mountains and it’s been a very light rain this morning for less than an hour. Like everyone, I hope this storm turns and goes out to sea but you can’t always depend on Mother Nature. Like most women, she has a mind of her Own.

I’ll be headed to Tigertown sometime tomorrow. I hope by car!

Leaves can be slippery. Ole cigar Dave better be careful.***

I'm just north of Charlotte, with very little rain, and slightly windy. Getting ready to head south and hoping 85 is clear sailing, (that's sarcasm by the way) hoping to make it before kick-off tomorrow.

We don’t #### in our seats in Death Valley. We’re house trained.

Be safe. It’s a long drive from Raleigh and even further going back home. We will welcome you.

I live in Raleigh and yes, it is raining and some blustery winds but nothing that should prohibit travel. I would think they would have already left this area either by air or bus. I admittedly do not know what flights look like.

Like big metal tubes moving high in the air, with wings and a tail. ;)

I’m in Wake Forest (NE of Raleigh) and light wind and rain currently, but forecast calls for 5+ inches of rain and 20-30 mph winds with 50mph gusts.

I’d assume they would have left early this morning WAY ahead of any inclement weather and totally avoiding any potential travel issues.

Go Tigers

I suggest they put their a$$es on a bus and get rolling***
