Now if he runs that at the combine, wouldn't that be a record?***

The chase down against UNC was more impressive

due to the result but he may have actually reached a higher speed against Miami. The guy just broke the plane before Wiggins got there. Both those plays should warrant him moving up draft boards. He has excellent cover skills. If he doesn’t get hurt at the end of regulation, we have an excellent shot in OT vs FSU

That play will make this young man a lot of $ in my opinion which is worth a couple of cents. It showed his speed and even more important a will to make something positive happen. No quit, just go make something happen. I could watch that one play over and over as that is what you want a player to do (give it all on the field).
As another poster stated, that is coming a long way from that game against Wake.

I assume this was hand-timed?

So .1 or so slower at the combine.
He's still lightning fast, but very, very few guys have run sub 4.3 at the combine. I hope he does it, but 4.3x is probably much more reasonable.

Had no clue he was that fast. Ford and spiller are the last two we had that ran that fast.

A Hand Timed 4.25 equates to a 4.45 Electronically Timed 40.

but even with his running around Makuba and not a straight line, his time from right around the 40 yard line to right at the goal line was just right on the 4 second mark. Incredible speed
With his cover skills, if he runs anywhere around 4.2 he could easily be top corner off the board and a top 10 pick.... What a ride he took from that Wake Forest game in Wake to what he became by end of this season. Congrats on the hard work and what you have accomplished already in hopes that you continue to shine brightly in the NFL.
