We belong in both imo. Sc has been playing as well as anybody and we should have beat them. Miami has been playing with fire all year. We can play with any team. Pretty much any team around .500 this year can beat anybody. We belong as much as anybody besides Oregon.

I’m sorry, but if you were raised in this state and today’s game doesn’t tick you off, then something is wrong…. It’s the MOST important game of the year if you’re from HERE!!! As for next week, I hope we win, but without a new coaching staff, it’s very unlikely. And we don’t seem to get up for the best teams!!! But I’m always hopeful

Here's a painful and unpopular thought. Does South Carolina belong in the ACC title game too? Yes, I know they are in the SEC but they played a tougher schedule and beat us. My point: we are not a championship caliber team. No, im not a coot. The diploma on my office wall says otherwise. I'm just tired of the Dabo excuses.

SC is just as good as any team in the sec. We are just as good as them. How are we not championship caliber? We are as good as any team besides maybe Oregon.

Just curious, who did we beat that would lead you to that conclusion? We only played 1 team with a winning record in the ACC and lost to them. Just not really understanding your logic here.
We go from that to being able to compete with anyone in the country other than Oregon?

Uhmm? NCSt had a winning record and still .500. Pitt has winning record and was ranked the week before our game. Seems like just about every conference has the same issue. Look at VT and UVA would have winning records if they didn't play Clemson.

I'm talking about how they finished in the ACC through this week. NCS is 3-5, Pitt is 3-5, VA Tech is 3-4, and UVA is 3-4. Let's be honest, none of these teams turned out to be very good as the season played out, and certainly do not reflect that we are competitive with any team in the country but maybe Oregon, as the OP indicated.
You're a smart guy. Did the team you've watched all season and the one you saw today really make you believe we are as good as any team in the country?

One caveat, whoever wins tonight between VA and VA Tech will at least get to 4-4 after tonight and the other will be 3-5.

So we still earned the right to play in the ACCCG by losing only 1 ACC game and having second best record. Why does this #### people off? I don't think we are great but we are not horrendous.
I think we should gave won today. I think coaches could have done some things better. I think we should have played more 3LB's and not sat Sammy 2nd half unless he was hurt. I think Mafah should have sat more because he is not 100%. Those Mafah up the middle plays were frustrating but we could have easily beat one of the better SEC teams today without that tipped ball.
I will go with I hate losing today but I am glad for the Miami loss and who knows what this team may do in the next few wks.

Quite the opposite. I believe we need to earn the right to be called elite again. Right now this program is not elite. I want Clemson football to mean something again. We are trending back towards the Bowden years. We have beaten nobody of consequence this year. That is my point. 9 wins while.playing in the ACC is not brag worthy. It allows Dabo to hang his hat on empty accomplishment. I want to play for national titles again. That is not going to happen being happy with winning 9 games.

OK. See that was simple. Just ask!!! Me and the wife will be in Keywest. Bought the airline tickets the morning after the Louisville loss. No regrets!! We will spend our annual Clemson post-season money down there. We are crushed!!🤣🤣🤣. And yes one of us is an alum and wears the ring proudly everyday.
