Lefties should not even think about celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is about everything the left stands against such as family, God, and country. Abe Lincoln’s 1863 Thanksgiving proclamation says “I do, therefore, invite my fellow-citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a Day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens.” So all you miserable anti-Christian, anti-religion lefties need to pass on this one.
Thanksgiving is the most traveled holiday of all. Family members travel across the country (trailing an enormous carbon footprint) to be with one another and to give thanks together. But, lefties are anti-family and anti-fossil-fuels. Families are traditional and you hate white, racist traditionalists who celebrate the outdated two-parent culture and families coming together. Women don’t need men anyway, the majority of whom are misogynists and only serve to further oppress women. Women are better off dedicating their lives to their jobs and skipping the whole family thing. Besides, the EV can’t go that far – so no travel this year. Am I hitting all the high points?
The ultimate anti-family org is BLM, and, of course, BLM is highly supported by all leftists. BLM says fatherhood is overrated and suggesting a mom and dad can raise kids better than one is racist. And, we know lefties are not racist, so the only conclusion is, again, lefties are anti-family just like BLM. If you are anti-family, you have no bidness eating turkey this Thursday.
Leftists know the deep roots of colonialism the USA was built upon. You believe Thanksgiving celebrations mask the true history of oppression and bloodshed that underlies the relationship between white European settlers and Native Americans. There’s no reason to fake enjoying turkey-day when you are so bitter about the oppression suffered by Native Americans. Just please stay home - your racist, homophobic, xenophobic conservative relatives will be extra thankful.
Lefties, feel free to make up your own holiday that reflects your pathetic ‘values’ but don’t coopt mine.

Traditional American values; these should be familiar to America’s leftists. Just a few. I’m going for my third helping of turkey and dressing.
Accepting all missives from the federal government as categorical truth, and labeling anyone who doesn’t agree as a conspiracy theorist. Intelligent debate about the validity of the government’s narratives is not what the government wants.
Support for federal government desires to suppress free speech that runs counter to the official government narrative; install federal ‘misinformation’ officials to coordinate activities with privately held social media companies to eliminate ‘misinformation’ posts from those who disagree with the government.
Unquestioned support of the Uniparty government’s involvement in foreign wars. Elimination (Dan Goldman’s words) of POTUS candidates who threaten to not support America’s interventionist wars.
Official regulations to reward race based characteristics (as long as those race based characteristics = black person) instead of merit based attributes. Exception being black people who publicly deride official government policies (see NY Mayor Eric Adam’s), who are pursued like hell’s fury by the federal government (either directly or via their proxies in state government).
Wild government spending to buy votes and to create money skimming / kickback payments / bribery opportunities for elected politicians and high level bureaucrats who enact those wild spending bills.
Create severe inflation as a consequence of the aforementioned wild spending; after all who gives a damning about low income earners. The current administration is going for Olympic glory on this one; they are a sure thing to win the gold.
