Last big addition! Myles when not starting my prediction will be one of the top 6th men in the ACC next season. On3 recruiting site after the NBA Draft withdraws last week had Clemson preseason ranked #23. I have them about #19.

I have been one of Brownell’s loudest detractors. The elite 8 run followed by a blue chip recruiting class and adding several legit players through the portal (pay attention Dabo) has this team poised for another deep tourney run. I was wrong. The Brad is a better coach than I gave him credit for. I honestly believe he learned how to win the big games. He was always close. He just didn’t manage the final 4 minutes well. He still has a propensity to ###### defeat from the jaws of victory at times. Hopefully he learns more this year and the final fours start to come.
Dabo should take note. When you have multiple holes to fill; using the transfer portal is immediate impact. New recruits need time to develop. These senior transfers come ready to contribute and can soften the loss of elite players. I must qualify this statement with the fact that I believe in Dabo and his decision making process. As far as I’m concerned he can retire from here even if he slips to 6 wins a year.

Hate to burst your bubble but Dabo is correct.

The only players in the portal are those that have landing spots due to tampering, are not getting playing time and want playing time or are looking for a pay day without having proven themselves. It is not the same as filling holes in basketball when the football team recruits at a high level. This football portal BS is just that, BS. Suggesting Dabo take note from Brownell is laughable.

Not so fast, my friend. I was in the Superdome to see a portal-built LSU team zoom up and down the field on us.
When Trevor scored right in front of me, I turned around and told the LSU fans, "I hate to tell y'all this, but when we score first we win."
What a looooong night after that!
We were crushed by transfers

Unless you're implying Brad tampered with Foster, Dabo's statement is wrong as it applies to Foster. He was arguably the best player on a meh team. That's who also hits the portal. He got plenty of playing time and he proved himself.

from bad or mediocre or lower level teams? It doesn't matter what the sport is. Dabo's statement is wrong.

His hubris regarding the transfer portal may be his downfall.
His generalization that players in the portal aren’t good enough to play for us is laughable since we finished middle of the pack in a mediocre football conference.
He’s missing a huge opportunity to improve our team.

Here are some transfers we lost to. There are many more
Justin fields Joe Burrow Trey Sermon Spencer Rattler The entire FSU team Marshawn Lloyd
Glad to know each one of these transfers are only in it for the money or not good enough to play for us.

The old "transfer process" vs NIL are 2 different animals. Burrow and Fields were before that NIL mess. And BTW, listing Rattler is a bit disappointing.
