My thoughts on the game

- Barrett Carter is a stud. He already had 5 tackles w/ 5 minutes to go in the quarter. He was all over the field and was fast.

- DJ seemed to improve slightly compared to last year. He definitely made some throws that he wouldn't have made last year, but he still looked very awkward in the pocket. He doesn't anticipate or throw his receivers open. It's still pretty obvious that he's not the answer. I don't understand why people thought he was going to take a monumental step this year. He was one of the worst qbs in the ACC last year.

- defense is as a advertised. Sheridan Jones had a few bad plays, but our Dline - LB combo is lethal.

- I was impressed by the punter

- Seems to me that Blake Miller is starting out out of necessity rather than him being a freshman superstar

- Cade klubnik is going to be good. He made multiple throws that DJ wouldn't have in 1 drive with drew swinney, wil taylor, and jimmy green beans out there at WR. He will start by the end of the year. I just hope it doesn't take us losing to start him. This throw below is what we have been missing.

I mentioned in another post but I would add that Antonio Williams came in and gave us a spark at WR.

Sheridan Jones shouldn’t be on the field - plain and simple. He shouldn’t have been on the filed last season either ... I get it, he has experience BUT too many talented CBs on the roster. Wiggins should start, no doubt about it.
