My take on the game

Jan 12, 2016, 1:00 PM

Going into last night I had full confidence that the tigers could win but I did believe we would have to play a mistake free game and possibly catch a couple breaks. We did not play mistake free football but were never out of the game until 0:00. Clemson played like Clemson for the entire game without having to get fancy but forced bama to go the drawing board with the onside kick and tight end play. Clemson beat Alabama at their strengths and Clemson is the only team that came close to that this year without Alabama turning over the ball.
At the beginning of the game, everyone was saying Clemson could not man up against the run or sit in the pocket and pass. By the 3rd quarter, I think the whole country started to respect the tigers for what we already knew. Just look at fgf's game forum at how their tone changed through the game.
I'm proud of the players. They left it all on the field. Clemson could have won and won easily if ....... but that's football. At the end of the day Clemson beat bama at bama football and made them change who they are to win. I wish the outcome would have been different but would not have respected them team any more than i do now. I love this team and can't wait til next year. Go tigers!
