happe, like YESTERDAY. 3000 to 3500 would be about right, I think for now.
Since it is RIGHT NEXT to Doug Kingsmore, maybe some high stands out in third base foul territory that can rotate to face either stadium? I just about gurntee nobody has ever done THAT.

individual seats in a grandstand. And yeah, I am STILL trying to figure out why we held the friggin' ACC tournament at that BC stadium. Somebody from BC must have some pictures of high ranking ACC administrators in a compromising position with barnyard poultry.

around where the scoreboard is. The stadium was designed with that in mind.
The ACC softball Tourney rotates through the conference. Unlike baseball, which has a choice of hundreds of neutral site minor league baseball stadiums, there are no large softball stadiums sitting around. College stadiums are the only ones that exist, other than the World Series park in Oklahoma City. No other choice.

I can see where that would be an issue

there's 15 ACC teams (counting Clemson). You would need hotel rooms for 14 teams, coaches, trainers, etc. Guessing that's about 50 people each team. That's 700 people, so 350 rooms needed, double occupancy, just for the players and personnel.
Then you have parents of players. Several hundred more rooms.
If you have graduation same weekend, that's a pretty big mess.

when you stop to think that the reason for Clemson's existence is athletics and academics is basically just a side hustle, I mean.
