My first prayer request

And it's for me. My body is in severe pain. I hurt 24/7/365. I am 37 now and had my first back surgery in 2008 and another in 2010. The reason for the 2nd was because my fusion broke and I walked (crawled) around with a broken back. I have developed terrible pain in my knees as well because of how weak my back is. I am very, very inflamed right now and can barely take the pain. I am on 2 different highly powered pain pills and have been for over 4 years.
The only hope I have if for God to completely heal me. It doesn't keep me from cheering my Tigers, but it sure does worsen my quality of life. Prayers and thoughts are much appreciated.

Hang in there bro,I know what you are feeling.I have had 3 back surgeries and since the last one I'm doing pretty good.I was too on the pain pills and have completely got off of them.I have bad days but more good than bad .Just keep your head straight and trust that God will get you past this.

Thanks so much to my Tiger family. It means a lot. Funny how a Clemson win makes you feel better. A gamecock loss helps too. 
I know God can heal me completely. I think about Him as the creator of the spine and all of the nerves that stem from it. I guess when it is broken you ask for the manufacturer to fix it. I wouldn't take my iPhone to Good Year..

Right now. Had a fusion done on L5-S1 in August so I know what you're going through. My doc told me he had to cut and tear away so much muscle to be able to perform the surgery so my muscles are still extremely swollen and most days I feel like I'm in more pain now than before I had the surgery. I just keep praying it will heal and I'll be good as new. I don't know know who has done your procedures before but if by some chance you have to have another MAKE SURE a neuro surgeon does it.

Thanks!! My fusion was L5-S1 as well. I wore a bone growth stimulator everyday for almost 8 months. It was done by a neuro both times. The 2nd time it took two surgeons because they went through my stomach. Yeah!! Pretty bad.

surgery almost 12 years ago and had instant relief but I know what pain you are talking about prior to the surgery. You can't get comfortable in any position and it's pretty depressing. Hang in there and hopefully your Drs will be able to correct it. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
