dude behind her wasn't paying attention and hit her at about 40 mph. She's fine, but sore. Her car took the hit pretty well, but his was trashed. Pushed her into the car in front of her too, so the Tahoe has major rear damage and minor front damage. UGH

Billboarders are often volume practices. They’ll recommend you to a chiropractor who will give you like 12 sessions of massaging and shock and hot/cold stuff. This will get your medical expenses up to around 10-15k. Then they’ll demand 3x meds to settle any lawsuit. Medical records do raise settlement value, given they’re not stupid. 10-15k is a sweet spot where it’s too expensive for the opposing insurance compan to hire an expert to invalidate billing/treatment necessity. Plus at some point it’s cheaper to settle than pay defense attorneys.

Someone with an insurance bad faith practice area will probably jerk around the insurance company a little better, depending on how they handle your claims. Bad faith is where the huge verdicts are these days. And insurance adjusters/litigators are very aware of those allegations.
