Clemson is so poorly run nowadays. I don't know if it's Clements or the board, but it's really sad. Tuition has gone up. Admissions standards have dropped which caused the school's ranking to fall since Barker stepped down. They've monetized everything and taken away benefits to cut costs. Pushed some of the best professors out the door while expanding the administration. Pushed a trillion DEI initiatives. And allowed in more international students every year, taking up valuable spots for South Carolinians.

Amen brother. Daughter is about to enter her last semester and I’m doing cartwheels of thought of getting out of there. Never seen a school that nickel and dimes you death yet she will not attend a single class on campus this semester. She’s obtained a 4.0 the last 2 semesters and she’s even admitted she’s shocked as how easy it has been. Professors that routinely no show , it’s been an expensive joke.
But hey, it’s all about that 50k piece of paper we’ll pay for that matters right
