My biggest issue was the 4th down play call at the end

I personally wouldn't have had a problem with Dabo's "going with the odds" theory of going for it on 4th down and letting the Defense handle the rest if we make a better play call on 4th down. Calling a straight handoff up the middle on 4th and 4 when we've been struggling running up in there all night was almost like we were conceding the turnover on downs. Why not run something to the outside giving DW4 a run pass option? It just didn't seem like we were trying to get the first down. I know things worked out in the end, but I'd really love to be a fly on the wall when the coaches go and evaluate themselves to see if they'd do the same thing if the situation presented itself again. You can't be blinded by just the result. Sometimes the thought process is more important if you want long term success.

I was more bothered by Gallman on 3rd down

not staying in bounds. He went out at 45 seconds. Stay in and the we run off 40 seconds before 4th down. He should not make that kind of mistake.

I was most bothered by the play call. I think most of us understand what Dabo was thinking. As an offensive coordinator you should understand the situation. Have good situational awareness. If you run the ball, which is the best option to run the clock, you avoid the sidelines at all costs. You run up the middle or between the tackles. To call a running play to the outside, toward the sideline was agregious.

The 3rd down play call was up the middle. Gallman broke

outside. Nothing wrong with that as long as he knows to stay in bounds at all costs. Saw Dabo shaking his head after Wayne ran out, but sorry coach, that one was on you and the staff. The players gotta know the situation and how to handle it - no matter how long the player has been around, the coaches need to be sure he understands the situation. Why did no one make it 100% clear to stay in bounds there?

Going with the odds in that situation is a Field Goal

attempt - to seal the deal - that is what the odds would say to do. However, if CDS wants to, "Put the FEAR of God into the Clemson faithful at the end of a game by falling into prevent defense and prove that we can still win a game with luck that is forced", well, he did do that.
