Today at work I had some old coots Show me a picture of supposedly Xavier Thoms sitting the hood of an expensive car. They said that we are paying recruits to come to Clemson and that the picture have been deleted now. (making it real) Has anyone heard of this nonsense also? I got fired up and pretty much told them that they can’t beat us on the field and this is the kind of crap they got to come up with now!!

So harping on kids posing for pics in front of expensive cars and fights in the stands at conference championship games and throwing bottles and flipping birds in the end zone at home games become the proxy battlefield.
Half of them accuse Clemson of cheating, and the other half say that SCAR needs to get busy cheating themselves.

They did the same thing when DW4 started posting pics with cars before he graduated. Turns out he was just test driving cars that he wanted to buy for his mother once he was drafted, just cooters cooting. Ask them about Clowney's 60,000 car he got a speeding ticket in WHILE attending USC, they'll get quiet.

It was an older Yukon with some nice detailing work done courtesy of his father's connects. And what leads them to believe that if it were a more expensive SUV that his family didn't purchase it? The implication that anything nice he has was "given to him" is not only wrong, it's insulting and disrespectful to him and his family.

I was given a nice car by my parents when I graduated high school, and I had zero interest from any colleges for playing sports. In fact, I had to pay money to attend college. I wonder how my parents managed to pay for that? Or is the logic from these South Carolina fans, that the only way African Americans can afford cars if if some white person buys it for them? Also, let's look at this from a logical standpoint. Back in the day before social media perhaps buying a car for a recruit was something that worked. These days however, even if a school is cheating their butts off, are they really going to be stupid enough to do so by buying a flashy car that would attract the attention of thousands, and possibly millions of people on social media? Surely, even for those who cheat that way, there has to be a smarter way of doing so.
