Phil Mafah. Fourth down on the goal line….put the QB under center (have the line forget zone blocking, get in a three point stance and drive someone backwards) with two tight ends, or better yet the jumbo package, and give it to Mafah! Shipley is not the answer, has had an attitude problem, and Dabo has coddled him all year. And you have heard not one complaint from Phil Mafah. Doubt he will be with us next year and rightfully so.

Shipley had 15 carries to Mafah's 5 . . . thought these guys were listed as co-starters . . . Mafah is getting scrub level touches

I just don't understand the fascination with Shipley. Mafah is averaging 1.5 yards more per carry, has 1 more touchdown rushing on just over half the carries, and has had less issues with ball security. He is even averaging more catches per snap played. It just isn't logical that Shipley gets twice the playing time.

And that's why it was ok that CJ Spiller benched him when LJD was our best back after ETN went pro. But nah, Shipley is a darling even though we see him weekly fussing with coaches and other players. Weak attitude to go along with his weak hands.
