I think your seeing the impact of a change in Dabos philosophy more than anything.
Slow roll offers. Limit the number per open slot. Make camp attendance or visits a prerequisite, don't allow kids to take official visits when they want to/can and instead limit them to the time of the year when kids have the least time to go. All that makes it harder for position coaches to land top kids. It appears to me that the internal rules might have loosened up a little bit. This way when a kid applies the, "go where you are wanted" yardstick we stay in the game.

I also feel that things have changed because we can have in-person and on-campus recruiting plus camps again. COVID really negatively impacted our way of recruiting and we are finally starting to recover. Now if we can just get this RB and WR bit figured out though.......

For some reason, I don’t feel really good about Freeling.Thought for sure he would jump on board, but I’m beginning to think he is looking out of state.Just my two cents!

I think Elliot (Georgia State) is a great OL coach and mind. When he hired Austin to coach his OL there he knew what he was doing, IMHO.
