Why is Robert Jolly not playing more? Byrd and Wilkie left 7 runners on base vs. NCSU. We are losing a lot of 1-2 run games recently. Seems that there is little to no production at the bottom of the batting order recently.

He was our second string catcher at the beginning of the year, why not now? The only thing I can think it's that maybe wilkie is better defensively, but Jolly isn't a liability, so I'd rather have him out there.

Because the previous 7-8 games I don't believe Jolly has hit the ball out the infield.

Come on people, that freshman pitcher did great. I've been asking why he hasn't been coming in more. Really think we'd won some of those with him pitching. He's done excellent each outing.
Base running needs a lot of work but they're freshman mistakes. Logans going to be really good.
The free pass gave them one run. Pinder blunder in 8th cost us another one. We were almost out of it until wilkie lost the ball... got to block it and throw, tag fella out. Again, wilkie is a true freshman.
We have two relief pitchers out. We'll be ok. Future is bright!

both freshman? I still don't think that with other more veteran relief pitchers, we should be using a freshmen in that brief though intense time - bottom of eighth. And how many of our runners have been thrown out trying to steal, who would have, otherwise, scored?

I agree that the future is bright in several regards but it is disheartening to not see THIS team play to their potential. I keep hearing the motto of playing loose but they seem exceptionally tight at times. Hope they can get that "nothing to lose" mentality clicking soon.
