Miami - before and after joining ACC

Miami joined the ACC in 2003 and began play in 2004-2005. So here’s a quick look at what they did the approximately 20 years before and after joining the league.

Before ACC:
Football national championships - 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001
Baseball national championships- 1982, 1985, 1999, 2001

After joining ACC:
Zilch

They have made the CWS four times since joining the ACC, but certainly their rate of making it to Omaha has decreased in the last 20 years. Their 2004 appearance was as an independent as their spring sports first competed in ACC play in 2005.

Miami CWS appearances - 1974, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2015, 2016

Dang they made the CWS 23 times from 78 to 2008. If these numbers are correct that's unbelievable.
