My wife and I went to Aruba. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely more of your fiancé's style with beaches and crystal clear water.

Congratulations!!!
My wife and I went to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and we loved it! Went back again when we celebrated Anniversary #29 and loved it again.
Both times we stayed at the Frenchman's Reef Resort:

We also stayed at that hotel in St Thomas in 2001 for our 10th wedding anniversary. Beautiful and I really like ST Thomas. I’ve been back on a cruise 5 years ago. I loved that we could also take a boat over from St Thomas to St John. Highly recommend. Also, I loved Aruba. Went there in 2021 or 2022 and stayed at RIU. Very clean and nice but windy. My husband liked it better than any of the other places we’ve been in the Caribbean.

Spent my honeymoon at The Westin on St John and loved it. The island is beautiful and also a National Park with uncrowded beaches.

Go to Bermuda Island, you have both the beaches and a bunch of British history. Plus its not too hot during the summer but beautiful beaches, pink sand and old Brit structures.

I'll third Bermuda. I had a project over there in the 90's and just loved it. I stayed at a cottage at the Mid Ocean Club, but since have gone back and stayed at the Hamilton Princess, which I would highly recommend. I like Bermuda better than Hawaii!

I wasn’t so impressed with Jamaica. Ocho Rios was pretty cool with the waterfall on the beach. It had a very third world feel and the constant barrage of “salespeople” was a huge turnoff. Many of the Caribbean destinations are that way. Sans Grand Cayman. Very nice people and no pressure from locals to buy some trinket for a dollar every fifteen steps

From a female perspective, the Cayman Islands are beautiful and safe. Stunning white sand and crystal clear water. Highly recommend the Westin Hotel because of the terraced pool, swim-up bar and seven-mile beach.

I live near Myrtle Beach. I would not even consider that destination. That place has gotten dangerous at night and have gangs hanging in some areas.

St Lucia rates high on every Caribbean Island list I’ve ever looked at.
ABC islands also rate high, especially if you like snorkeling.

Hawaii IF you’ve never been. Pictures and video does not do it Justice. If you like being in big city settings Oahu is great because everything is in walking distance and five star restaurants everywhere. Maui is more beautiful with better seclusion as is the big island. I’ve been almost everywhere in the Caribbean and some European destinations. Hawaii is hands down the best. I do recommend doing multiple islands. Maybe a day or two on Oahu just for the Pearl Harbor memorial and Diamond Head hike. Then Maui and the big island because each one has something different to offer. Rent a convertible or Jeep with a targa top for the big island. Everything is very spread out and the journey is as cool as the destinations. Fun fact: I have ran into Clemson people every trip to Hawaii!

Hawaii is my favorite go to destination. I suggest the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu. Sunset cruise is nice. Lots of good hikes like the botanical gardens and water fall. Maui is more laid back with great beaches, distillery tour, wine tour and a great bison burger. My next trip will include the big island and volcano park. Enjoy.

St Barts (St Barthelemy). Great beaches and a very laid back atmosphere. Just a short flight to St Martin for a day trip if you want. Or stay on St Martin and take the day trip to St Barts.

We honeymooned at Biltmore in Asheville. They have a 4 star hotel and restaurant plus a bunch of other stuff. We were young and poor so this was a stretch for us 16 years ago. However, we loved it so much we have gone back for almost every anniversary. Just my 2 cents.
Congrats to you and your bride!

Should add that while there are no beaches it’s a very relaxing place. It is also filled with history and the estate is essentially a museum.
