Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg,, and Jeff Bezos started acting like they wanted to be the next Bond villains.
Now, please, make up something to undermine these sociopaths.

I've been waiting since the 80's for "trickle down" economics to work.

And maybe once, it might have. And genuinely, I really liked Reagan as a president.
But in todays modern economics, but I don't think anyone can really tell me with a straight face that by NOT taxing billionaires, somehow that's going to end up helping me or anyone like me.
Heck with my company the more we make the more we lay off, so its seems like bizarro world to me.

Predict they’d be the next trend we would be seeing as a next-level perk to create and attract an even more indebted work force.
Could be beneficial, could be diabolical.

That original thread with Jimmy, but yeah, exactly.
My larger point was that with all the cheap and abundant land in the country, and people not able to afford houses, it seemed silly that mega corps would continue trying to center themselves for the majority of their operations in the most expensive zip codes on the continent, and instead go to this company town model.

you lose your job,, you lose you home. And at least the 19th Century Company Towns Had Brothels for their railroad workers and mining operations, I am not seeing this.
