I went out and took down Christmas lights in very cold weather. As I recall West had them for that game. We never should have named that end zone in DV for him.

Not to mention 3 hours of hearing Bob Trumpy say “I can’t believe this is Clemp-son!’
It was probably the most appropriate statement about Tiger football in the 90s after Danny was gone.

Hung over, it was raining, and our team was wearing concrete shoes. 8 Hour Drive to think about it.

It was a warm-ish kind of rain at least. As far as the play goes, it didn't help that we saw the majority of the team at The Landing the night before, and I was hung over for sure, so I suppose they were too. We pondered if that explained why Dexter McCleon got burned over and over (and over) by McNabb. And of course, there was the Ford brothers... The upside was that we made friends with a funny 12 year old kid from Anderson in the second half after his folks reminded us that we weren't in the student section anymore (one too many expletives in the first half there). I blame that on our poor performance coupled with the seemingly 132oz beverages they were serving; might as well have been served in a bucket.

And one of only two games I've ever eaten early. (I wasn't driving) Somewhere I still have a roll of those stickers that say beat Syracuse. I want payback for that game. Donavon McNabb and Marvin Harrison can kiss my ...

That was also my only bowl game. A miserable weather game highlighted by an embarrassing performance.

With how undersized their front 7 is, the O-Line has to do their job this weekend. No excuses not to be able to run the football and win the trenches. I'm sure Cuse will play like their heads are on fire, but we need to just physically out man them and establish dominance.

I always see that phrase…but I think if my head were on fire I would flail about wildly and scream…I probably wouldn’t be an effective player at that point…essentially leaving my team a man down. It would also be smart to hold my breath in that situation…again, not really conducive to an athletic endeavor.

I think you're just taking it to literally lol. The point of the phrase is just running wildly and like being everywhere at one time.

81 year old stadium. 81 Champions.
Dabo has mentioned several times the importance of numbers. Wouldn’t it be freaky If total points scored is “81”?
