I got a call about a medical clinic a couple months ago

The owner said the tennants hvac guy broke some trusses.

Fairly common so I didnt think a whole lot about it.

33 trusses in a row all broken at the same spot. Clearly it was not an hvac contractor.

We went in at night the next day and shored everything up. I did an analysis and designed repairs and it took about a week working nights to fix.

I finally got the answer which was my guess but not verified for a few days.

They reroofed the building a couple of months earlier and the roofer told the owner the roof was 'soft'

It was scary to me because the ceiling was dropping and the trusses were completely compromised. I didnt give them a choice. I told them the had 24 hours to respond or I would have the building inspector shut it down.

They were close to that video. It was a dyalysis center it could have been bad.
