Mark Stoops on GA players and NIL

Kentucky coach Mark Stoops publicly pleaded for more financial support for his program after the Wildcats' 51-13 loss to Georgia on Saturday, putting a spotlight on the NIL difference between his team's players and those on the No. 1 Bulldogs.

"I can promise you -- Georgia, they bought some pretty good players," Stoops said Monday in response to an upset fan on his weekly radio show. "You're allowed to these days, and we could use some help. That's what they look like, you know what I mean, when you have 85 of 'em. I encourage anybody that's disgruntled to pony up some more."

This way it would refine the parody aspect of the sport as well as not have these youngsters believe they are polished and have made it. They have done very well getting to this level but....it should be earned by their performances. Plus schools with the most money won't just be buying up players they know they will never use.

if the NCAA eliminates the total scholarship limitation that is currently in place. Schools will recruit and sign players just to keep others schools from getting them. Bear Bryant was notorious for doing it which is why the scholarship limitation was imposed to begin with.

Check his roster to see how many kids he has that transferred from UGA that are collecting NIL checks.

Kirby’s response was kind of ironic given that he loves to use any perceived slight to his team as motivation like when he called out the Gamecock player for saying TAMU and TN had the loudest stadiums. Kirby’s response was that Stoops was just trying to get his fan base to donate to their collective. Said he needed the GA fans to do the same.
