and in my expert opinion based on my 42 years as a Realtor, I think Sammy Brown may have a huge game. And on the bright side, Arkansas got to Ewers a couple of times I think with a THREE MAN RUSH. However, Ewers did complete some balls against the three man. But, he is not mobile. Also, Arkansas remined me of us on offense to an extent. (Well, not their QB. Not nearly as good as Cade). The Arkansas offense had what looked like a couple of big conversions on RPO's but the QB kept it passed it to the flat instead of handing off...One in particular could have been a huge play with the right back. I think they can be run on, but we are going to have to trust Easy E, if that is possible. I remember one play we had Saturday in the 3rd quarter I think where Mafah went off right tackle and split two defenders and the one on the right got him with one arm. Our receiver was 15 to 20 yards down field and had the DB locked up......I love Mafah...but a faster back would have burst through those two SMU guys without being touched and it could have been a 30 to 40 yard play and maybe a TD.....There is just no way we can leave those chances on the field anymore than we can miss a wide open Wesco or Moore or Williams or Brinny..
We can win this game. But it is gonna take our A+ game to do it...

34 to LSU,25 to Mississpi St,63 to Ole Miss, TWENTY TO TEXAS,14 to Louisianna Tech, and 28 to Missouri. If we can score 24 .....well....we've got a chance.

of those. Texas scored the LEAST points against Georgia of any of the other 6 teams, those six being Miss St, Florida,Ole Miss,Tennessee, UMass, and Georgia Tech...(Well, in one of the games Texas did score more than Tennessee did, but barely). And let's not forget, SEC refs absolutely STOLE THE GAME FROM GT in regulation over Georgia. STOLE IT!!!! Multiple horrendous calls bailed Georgia out.
So,I am gonna predict Clemson in a nail biter over Texas 27-22.

I hope you are right. I do feel better after reading some of these posts. We have a way of mostly showing up and showing out for big games in which we are a perceived severe underdog. Lets probe em wrong Tigers and give all the talking heads a “big ole s@@t burger to eat.”
Bonus points if you can name the movie reference.

listen if the offense plays like they did in the first half vs SMU and the d-line plays like usual while the d backs do their job we will be in a good position to win. Ewers cant run which is a big deal considering the past to QBs. D-Line will give him pressure and he can throw it thats why DBs gotta play good.

Relative to a couple of our other running backs Mafah is slow.

I love Phil, he's a work horse and has help us reach the playoff but unless he is 90+% healed I hope one of the younger, faster backs gets most of the work.
I know speed is one of the lesser issue and gives way to ability to hold onto the ball, block, catch outlet passes and many other really important skills. Phil's short comings on being fast and his injuries have been less than normal for him.
I continue to believe that Dabo handled this correctly for the rest of Phil Mafah's life will be influenced by his draft stock. Dabo played him to show the NFL scouts that he is dedicated and even when both shoulders are injured he gives his team all that he has.
Anyone who doesn't appreciate that is selfish and loves winning more than these kids who lay their bodies on the line for Clemson every day, week after week, month after month for years.
The only thing I disliked about this was watching that young man suffer when he was tackled. He is already a man which most of us will never be.
