What TV shows did you love as a kid or teen...

That were pretty much awesome (and probably critically acclaimed), yet they are just about forgotten today? I mean shows that are NOT iconic (Cheers, Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, X Files, etc., I would consider iconic) but were pretty bad ### yet aren't mentioned much today. I thought of this after HBO canceled Winning Time, which was amazing but will fall short at two seasons due to the writer's strike.
As a kid or teen, mine were, in no order: The Greatest American Hero Picket Fences Unsolved Mysteries (maybe kinda iconic?) News Radio The Hogan Family American Gladiators M.A.S.K. (had some of the toys as a kid) Alf (maybe kinda iconic) MadTV Hey Dude Sliders
I was about to add Quantum Leap but I think that falls into the iconic realm.
I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting that y'all will bring up.

Magnum PI I always liked as a teen. As a kid, cartoons. I don't remember when A-team was around, but I liked it other than the fact that nobody ever really got shot.

TBS was fantastic back then. Best afterschool network by far...Get Smart, Gilligan, Dark Shadows. There was an independent station out of Charlotte that was really good, too. Can't remember the name.

Nip/Tuck was pretty entertaining for the first few seasons, then totally jumped the shark from what I remember. Oz made me NEVER want to go to prison.

MeTV station here in Atlanta.
They play 24 hours of old TV shows. Quite a few years back I noticed they were starting Lost in Space from the 1st episode. I got to rewatch all of them (one a week).
I followed that by watching all the Star Trek (original), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants and Kolchak: The Night Stalker.
It's amazing the stuff we thought was entertaining.

I think it was on cable channel 26. Green lines tried to blur it out but volume worked, and you could still follow the plot quite well in spite of that.

I went down a rabbit hole and found how to watch a lot of these shows:
Some of these are college/post-college
Emergency In the Heat of the Night Cheers - certainly iconic, but rarely played in syndication Sports Night - great show that only ran 2 years - a lot of cast pulled into the The West Wing (one of the great all-time shows) News Radio Benson / Soap Spin City Night Court Barney Miller / Fish WKRP Taxi Hill Street Blues One Day at a Time Alice Eight is Enough
