Exactly-mafah obviously hurt had nothing —Haynes would have won us the game-how many third and short killed us—and why in the world was Lubbock throwing to him 4 yards away with 19 seconds left. Dumbest play ever was the triple fumble-how about just falling on the ball unreal

Although now that most of them are pro athletes I question that stance….
But having said that I don’t remember any Clemson backs running like I’d expect a 230lb back to run in quite a while. I want a Greg Jones type of guy

I'd say our last hard nosed back who acted like he wanted the contact and would fight through it was Wayne Gallman.

No one player usually took Gallman down but no player broke tackles like ETN. Arm tackles below his waist was a waste of time often.
James Davis used to take the contact and move forward. Mafah should have sat more this game, he hurt us most the game today.

Ship would blow them up as well. Was always good to lower a shoulder at the side lines. Fans wanted Mafah so bad after last season. Ship would have had a better game today,I realize Mafah is injured but speaks volumes that they don’t have a quality #2 guy to get touches when #1 is clearly injured.
