I'll take a stab at it. Nickelback in a hugely popular band but a good number of people in the rock community consider them not real rock and think they are posers.

This takes some serious thought...
LSU has great D, secondary, but struggles offensively. That is akin to having a great drummer, decent bassist, and a very weak front man. One old hit and one getting a resurgence a few years ago... but mostly a mashup of sorts.

I disagree with the Nickleback comparison (at least it wasnt Creed) but it should be something whereby the core of the band stays together longer than what could be expected due to success. thoughts?
