a single down? I did not make it through the entire game, but it seemed they played zone the whole time, which makes easy pickens for an accurate QB. Not mixing it up at all was their downfall. Maybe they were so afraid of getting burned they didn't want to, didn't feel their DBs could stick with the FSU receivers, but if you play zone - ever down - you are going to give up points. That was the exact mistake Venables made at the end of the game.
I just wonder how good Winston would have looked if the D had mixed it up more.

My thoughts exactly. They will gush all over Winston as their new 'boy wonder' since Jonny Manboobs is turning into an embarrassment. That'll give our Tigers a chance to develop a little more under the radar, and on Oct. 19th I'll get a nice Birthday present.....Division Championship for Clemson!

I'm not understanding why you guys are hating on Winston and FSU. It's in our interest for FSU to be good and the perception of them to be good. Not to mention that Winston is the truth and seems like a good kid.
