The question is: will Clemson be able to pay him enough to stay with the team?
It only took a 2nd college game, albeit against a lesser opponent (App is still a good football team by many standards), for Wesco to show what he can do.
If he continues to perform as he did against App State, Wesco will be “tampered with” through the portal by “championship teams”, and the “tamper money” will be in the millions.
Can CDS and Clemson keep him? This is what it comes to now in college football.

If money was what he was about, since he was highly recruited, don’t you think he’d have gone somewhere else? Maybe his family isn’t poor.

I feel that because of the culture Dabo has built, we don't lose our top guys. We seem to lose the guys that want to start but aren't starters. Then they bounce to lesser programs, sometimes more than once. It's Possible, of course. We shall see. I have Orange Faith. Y'all can use that.

Clemson has the money. They give it to the players that are here that they they need to keep like Peter Woods. Most lists I've seen say Clemson supporters are spending $7M a year through the collective(s).

I have to disagree that it's all about the money with most kids bc I just don't believe that it's all about the money with Wesco, I could be wrong but with how little I've heard about and from him, money isn't his top priority...

David, I take exception to the insinuation that Clemson is not a major program. How many of those other schools have 6 playoff appearances and 2 national championships in the last 10 years?

When you’re in a power 5 conference and a 9-4 record is a bad year, then you’re a major program and I realize the ACC is not the SEC and there’s no power 5 conference anymore. Still, you get the point.
