I hope the guy does well. His biggest problem is that he made it difficult for many of you to stand around the water cooler and hassle co-workers that support another team. He a smart guy that has had problems on the field. Have a little grace and self respect by wishing him well. He is a Clemson man whether you like it or not.

DJ was recruited, committed, played and
left a Clemson man with a Clemson degree!
I will hope for the best for him, especially in health and life. However, come 60+ min on Oct 5th, he will be playing against our current men trying to earn that status and thus my heart and mind will be pulling for those men to win and learn to be Clemson men!!

It’s not your place to tell anyone what to say or how to feel. If you want to take what you’ve seen from him on the field and come to the conclusion that “He a smart guy”, fine… you are entitled to have and express your opinion. In my view he anything but that. He was a disaster who regressed during his time at Clemson. As far as being a “Clemson man”, he’s a DJU man who jumped ship the second we had a better option. I don’t hate him; I really don’t care about him. But I do think he is a mediocre QB and I feel no compunction to “wish him well”.

I yelled my lungs off for the guy at the ND game in South Bend. I wanted him to succeed so much. The moment that he intentionally threw a pass into the ground at Charlotte changed it for me. I hope that the Clemson front five keeps him on his back all night long when the Tigers play the Noles. I honestly don’t think he will be their starter by then.

I think DJ is a great guy, but I’m just not going to pull from FSU regardless who is playing qb. I don’t think I am alone in that sentiment.

Why would anyone pull for FSU? They are on our schedule and favored to win the conference. DJ is a good guy in my opinion and I have no ill feelings towards him but a loss helps us. That is all.

I agree with you. His future may not be in football, but he seems like a nice young man. I'll support him until FSU plays Clemson. Even then I will not talk badly about him.
