Pure speculation on my part, but I have been concerned with Wesco and him feeling underappreciated and possibly thinking about the portal. I think getting him the ball more late in the season has eliminated that possibility.

Middle of the season he was half-a$$ing some routes and his production was way down from the beginning of the season. There are always rumors, but you never know how much credence to give them. You see how teams went after our recruits so you can imagine people have been in his ear.

But, as I said in my message, "pure speculation on my part."

He was injured during the period that you are referring to. I heard the rumors, and did not think that he looked good, but I think health was the biggest factor.

as much as possible last night. I agree, I think that played a factor.

Hopefully he stays, especially with Cade coming back for another year.

I do believe the freshman are currently being compensated very well. No facts, but I would bet my house on it.
