Peace in Gaza depends on one thing: the end of the prosecution of the Netanyahus. If the threat of prison is removed, Bibi will be willing to risk losing power. Or if his next attempt at weakening the courts works and he goes full dictator, he can end the prosecution himself.

deal, read the BBC article on it. QA only buys Boeing, they’ve ordered up a bunch of 777s and 787s. Lead time is a decade plus on those. Boeing problem isn’t orders, it’s their ability to fill them. You can absolutely expect that deal to change once trumps gone.

The US had told them to fund Hamas to keep channels open for hostage discussions, etc. Hell, Israel was the second biggest supporter of Hamas, with the intent to keep Hamas in power so the West Bank and Gaza could not unite against the colonizers.

Photo-op meetings with friendly foreign governments. Followed by agreements to study the situation. Followed by nothing useful getting accomplished.
