Anybody else scroll up to make sure that David Hood did not write this article after reading the sentence about not watching a game in Sanford Stadium since watching the Bulldogs and South Carolina playing a game?

I can't believe the author tried to compare the downtown of Clemson-3 bars, and UGA 100+ bars, restaurants, etc. They are nothing like each other...

They got to drown their sorrows from somehow. Losing to a lowly ACC team two years in a row must be hard on them SEC boys.

There is no comparing Clemson and Georgia. After our tailgates the campus doesn't look like a refugee camp in Sub-Saharan Africa with garbage and human feces all over the place.

Obviously you have never been to the beautiful and pristine UGA campus, or the beautiful downtown Athens, but I assure you they look nothing like this... And from my experiences at Clemson, you fans tend to sit there and do... Nothing all day, boring old Clemson fans...

I have been to Clemson multiple times... There ARE only 3 bars in the downtown area, and there is not much else in Clemson period... It's a tiny town, built around a smaller university... Tater

I have never seen Clemson look like this after a day of tailgating.
I have never heard of the President of Clemson University in a press conference talk about Clemson fans urinating and defecating outside of campus buildings.
I have, however, heard it come from UGA's President.

Eat at Al Dente in the north end. Best Italian food I've ever eaten.

When i went to FSU in 2006 i was surprised how crappy

the stadium was. It looks great from outside, but once you get inside it has the feel of an old parking garage in need of repair. Stands are pretty ho-hum too. Big bowl, not really too load compared to some other stadiums.

if you get endzone seats that are situated beneath the suites...you better wear your best dri-fit gear and be prepared to stave off dehydration.
I sat there in 2006 and it was awful, never sweated so much in my life and it was a night game. The humidity level in that small space compared to the rest of the area was just staggering. I had to walk out into the 'open' a few times to catch my breath. Glad we won at least. I know the FSU fans above were none to happy about Tiger fans beating on the ceiling above us.

Boston is a great town

Duck Tour awesome: plan on an hour and a half in that amphibious vehicle, seeing most of the important points, and it will set you back about $33 per person, but well worth it and great for the kids too. LIttle Italy as you refer to it is the "North End" in Boston. The ambience is real and the streets - particularly the main one, Hanover, will be full. For the intrepid, go deeper down Hanover to the far end, and now you're with the real Italians, sort of a Soprano setting, if you get my drift. But the old men with cigars are friendly and will chat you up. Just don't venture down alone. I also suggest a Samuel Adams Brewery tour where you will get plenty of beer tasting. Finally, forget Cheers, which will probably be seen on the Duck Tour anyway. Go to the most famous pub in Boston and maybe the world, seen in several movies, including "The Departed". That pub is Doyles, an remarkable excursion into the Irish past. It is still preserved from the 1800's.

Yep, the only part they filmed in Boston was a few seconds of exterior shots for the intro.

If you guys do make the trip to Wake, be sure to head to the Greensboro and visit the ACC hall of Champions. Have not been but since your close (short 30 min drive) its worth it.
