ever cracking a book, then goes to a good colllege and flubs around for a couple of years and almost flunks out until they grow up a little bit, the light comes on, and they realize you don't get A's at a good college for being smart. You get A's by putting in the work and scoring high on tests.
We should be a top 5 or top 10 football team; we are certainly capable of it. And I agree that right now, we're not that far off. But we have flubbed around and haven't done what it takes, and because of that we haven't even earned a top 25 ranking.
I understand and appreciate Dabo's positivity. I think it's a good thing. But this season is a disappointment; there's no way around it. As a head coach, you can't focus on that and constantly be responding to it. You have too much work to do that won't get done that way.
I think the truth is that we sucked massively against Duke, and for two quarters against CSU. Terrible preparation, coaching, motivation, and execution. Just God-awful. Since then we've seen significant, steady improvement. I have faith that we will get there; unfortunately it may not be this year.

At least he’s optimistic about giving his team confidence until their play reaches his belief in them, nothing wrong with believing and encouraging your team especially when your a few plays from being top 3 or 4.
We are best 2-2 team period!
