Though admittedly, with all of the hoopla, hubbub and handwringing, you were pretty much "delivered a fat juicy slow curve right over the heart of the plate" with this past week!
Still, entertaining as usual and thanks for the laugh heading into (my) weekend - I DO love a four day workweek!
GO TIGERS!!!!

Strangest of all this season to me...

is Miami AT App. State.
Big-time football teams do not play AT lower division teams. They use these games for extra home games to boost revenue and give the smaller schools a large chunk of change to help with their programs. For instance, I seem to recall several years ago Wofford getting a new weight facility with the windfall from their appearance at The Valley.
Is this a testament to how far Miami has fallen, their traditionally poor fan support or was the Orange Bowl just rented out for a concert that might actually attract fans?

I read an article a couple months ago that renovations were behind for the orange bowl and the first few games of the season may have to be played elsewhere...not sure if this is why but it is my best guess

You need sunglasses & Khaki did not swallow!

Prophet: You are 100% correct on most of your week 3 predictions. However, the Sun rises in the East so in order to predict that Game you would need to wear sunglasses! Once you put them on then it would clearly show you that the East is the Winner this Saturday. On another note, you got the prediction correct but Khaki did not swallow. He chewed it up well, then spit it out. Go Prophet!!!!!!!!!!

Always love ya PP, but let's correct the record cause the three rules of journalism are accuracy, accuracy, accuracy.
Actually Deliverance was set in Jaw-ja, not NC and its author was a drunk teacher at USuCk in South Carolina. Nothing to do with APP State...are you hearing banjos?!
