That's a different Myles Murphy. Our guy plays for the Bengals and is very much still on the team.

He hurt his MCL in I think a controlled scrimmage

a couple of weeks ago. Precautionary to hold him 4-6 weeks from then. He played well at the end of last year and coupled with other Bengal longer term injuries his playing time was/is expected to increase.
Also, the other Myles Murphy that got cut by Arizona was in the same recruiting class. He went to UNC.

will end up on another team's roster and will contribute this season. It's hard to believe that Carlos Watkins, Jackson Carman and Myles Murphy will end up on the practice squad or worse.

The Myles Murphy who played for Clemson didn't get cut. There's another guy with the same name who played at UNC and did get cut.

I always hope Clemson players have long careers but the average "life" in the NFL is something like three years. Or at least it used to be. As someone pointed out many will go to other teams. Best of luck to all. And thanks for the summary.

Good enough to stick with the practice squad past few years, played his heart out in the preseason (including a NICE catch and run TD), still can't quite stick. Surely they'll put him on the squad again.
