Clemson released its first depth chart of the season yesterday and there were a few items of interest. Here is what caught my eye:

If Isaiah Battle and DJ Reader were on the depth chart there would be no true freshmen starting. Maybe no redshirt freshmen starting!

There's actually not 28 FR or RS FR on the two-deep, because many of those positions are listed as three deep (ie QB, TE, WR, CB, LB). I guess you could call it a 2.5 deep.

Info like this is hard, nigh impossible, to come by anywhere else. After reading this, but not only do I know how many freshmen and RS freshmen we have, but I also know their NAMES!!!!

the math almost always overstates

Freshman compared to other classes so most teams have a self perception they are young in most years. Wash outs and redshirts being counted twice in total freshman number (not depth chart) are why. The we are young thing every year grows tiresome.
