not so, but, with his performance last night, Trevor pretty much played himself out of the Heisman.
Ironic that we have had two of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time back to back here, and neither one garnered that award. It is what it are, though.

Clemson probably has the best team cohesiveness in all college football, you put a single player forward with stat padding and it breaks that down!
Yea, Jibar Lausom got Louisville a Heisman, but Louisville has NOTHING else.

It's like making 99 on every test in school

and every test has different person that makes a 100. While overall, you're the best, somebody always beats you on that one test. Joe Burrow had 8800 yards passing and 78 touchdowns in 5 college seasons. TL has 9600 yards and 86 touchdowns in 3 seasons. Yet Joe Burrow will be looked at as the better college QB by a lot of people because 70% of his stats came in one season as a 5th year 22 year old senior.

I don't know that Joe "Leetle Burrow" will be looked upon as

a better overall college QB than Trevor.
But, I can't deny him having arguably the greatest single season a college QB ever had, on the greatest single one shot wonder team ever. (That last part is arguable, I would love to have somehow seen our 2018 team square off against their 2019 team. That would have been a college football game for the ages right there!)

No sane person alive can argue that last year wasn't one of the best QB performances in CFB history. Hats off to him.

Dabo said it all when he said "If our goal was for Trevor

Lawrence to win a Heisman, he would have already won one."
Dabo has made it clear that Clemson Football is all about the team, not individuals. I, for one, am in total support of this.

He won! He scored a few big TD's! Passed it and ran it well.
Fields didn't do much better: 199 yards compared to 195 for TL. Only 4 first half possessions because VT controlled the line of scrimmage. Voters remember the big plays!
Trask and Jones are not the best players in college football. If it's just stats 76er - Dillon Gabriel from UCF should get the award! They don't just go off that though!
Still a shot man!

Likely true

And unless we ever have a down year defensively and a singularly outstanding offensive player then we likely will never win a Heisman under Dabo. And that's just fine by me. While winning the Heisman is certainly an achievement, it isn't one that necessarily translates to anything concrete for the team or player (or program or fans for that matter). In the end Dabo isn't going to chase stats, and instead he will typically spend meaningful snaps in games getting experience to other players to make the team better.
I'm sure for some fans that will lead (is leading) to frustration as we don't see Techmo bowl style numbers, and it may, at some point, cost us a recruit or two, but it will likely win us many more who know they will get snaps even behind stellar talent.

haven’t seen Clemson play other than ND. Let’s face it. Bama s oline is terrific and so are their wideouts without Waddle: Also can run to somewhat keep the defenses honest. Honestly number six for Bama is the best player on the team. Waddle even better:
