Skattebo

Imagine what Cam Skattebo would have done to our defense if we had made it to the quarterfinals. Perhaps a respectable loss on the road to Texas was a better outcome. For a team that struggles as bad against the run and missing tackles as Clemson does…would have been like a hot knife through butter

And dang was the guy gassed or fighting a stomach bug. Can’t believe he was still going.

He was throwing up on the sideline in the first half. That kid is ridiculous. Reminds me of Mike Alstott the way he breaks tackles

No doubt, definitely impressive.

The heart and determination that guy showed yesterday while not being 100% was impressive. He earned a lot fans yesterday that is for sure.

A very valuable hypothetical that

can in no way shape or form be disproved because of course it'll never be put to the test.

Gosh. I love TNET.

I don't think we're gonna need the security cameras for this next part.

Texas State held him to 2.6 yards per rush. That was the lowest of the season. Wyoming and Texas Tech also kept him in check.

Seems he played his best against the best competition when it mattered the most.

Funny old world, innit.

Our defense would have wanted no part in stopping that guy. Sad to see how far they have fallen from Brent.

We would have stopped him but given up 523 yards through the air.

I don't think anyone was stopping him yesterday.

But I tend to agree with the OP.

Great running back with tremendous fortitude but he does love the camera and is a bit arrogant.

Arrogance or confidence but either way, it is part of a successful formula that fuels him.

Confidence should be silent. Proclaiming that you're the best football player of all time is 1) asinine and 2) cocky. I, for one, was glad to see him/them lose - solely for his attitude and hubris.

Kid, you're like 5'-2"; Derrick Henry would stomp you into the ground.

He and his dad both look like Jiffy Lube greaseballs.

Fwiw, I do like ASU's coach and that QB is a slippery one - they've got a good team, but that tweaker was not one of my faves.

great player, but his impact was short yards and the pass...

He would not have won the game on his own...

He’s not arrogant he has a chip on his shoulders. No one thought he could be a big program back. He would have been a problem in anyone’s backfield. Could you imagine him in Athens… running behind THAT line.

He's not arrogant? That quote they showed yesterday, he said he's the greatest football player in the country?? That's not arrogance?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Likely a shootout. Don't see ASU stopping us much***
