He said that he has been pushing for a flagrant 1 and flagrant 2 targeting penalty similar to the basketball flagrant 1 and flagrant 2 foul. He made a LOT of sense. He concluded by saying that he is still confused on what targeting is!

Start fining them and/or suspending them for some of these unbelievably tendentious calls and see how quickly they improve.

When I wrote nuclear submarine maintenance documents decades ago, I used the word "deleterious" in a draft copy. The admiral circled it and wrote "million dollar word, replace it." I had to write a couple more sentences to replace it!
