It is spring practice. What better way to motivate than reminding this team of its biggest short coming. Its not like be buy new clocks for ever countdown. I would expect this to be updated to the opener come fall practice.

According to Stoudt the clocks were set to countdown to the USuCk game after coaches and players saw the picture of Shaw putting this is our state 5 on the clemson helmet!

At first.. I hated it. It sounded like crap SCar did all these years we were kicking their tails.
But I have not been in all the team meetings and the coaches have. And Obviously they wanted to change something mentally because while we looked like we could have won by 10+ last november, mentally we sucked.
So while my instinct tells me this just puts SCar more in our players heads... I will reserve judgement and see what happens.

recently USuCk/Spurrier has done a good job of playing mind games with us. We have begun to over-analyze this one game and it is starting to screw with our heads. We used to never put this much emphasis on this one game before. We just need to start playing this game and every game equally and to the best of our ability. Play our best in every game and do what we do. Block, Tackle, PROTECT THE BALL. We do all that, we win the games. We have had the talent - we are getting beat more mentally than physically. Case in point this past November. Physically we beat 'em - mentally we sucked and turned the ball over too much. We never gave ourselves a chance to beat them. You don't beat many teams if turn the ball over that much. That's mental. Let's continue to play like Clemson, the rest will take care of itself. HeII, we are beating teams better than them, they are just beating us mentally and we have started to over-analyze. I'm done. Go Tigers !!
