Let's not leave the ACC

No, I'm not one of the folks that actually has a serious affinity for the conference. But here's the way I see it...
The ACC isn't /that/ bad. Well, maybe it is, but it's not horrible because the teams are incapable of winning, but that the teams that have been winning in the past haven't been significant forces of late.
If FSU, Miami, VT, and GT and maybe NCSU or UNC return to being the fairly decent teams they should be, the ACC wouldn't be near so bad.
On the converse, we could leave an apparently unstable ACC for the Big 12, which doesn't have it's stability guaranteed either. So, if it isn't the SEC offering, let's hope that FSU, Miami, VT, and GT start playing consistent, good football.
I realize that I'm being a little optimistic here, but these are schools that have historically done well at football, that haven't done quite so well in the last few years. But just like stop and go traffic on the interstate, one lane may slow down for a little while, making the others look better, before soon returning to a competitive pace.
These schools have been quite good in the past and it's not like it's been 20 or 30 years. More like 10 max. Let's stick together and talk the powers of a couple years ago into a resurgence.

them.............Big12 has signed a grant of rights......I do believe there will be only be 4 major players after the playoff system starts so which one makes it the Big12 or the acc......if the Irish would join full time and everyone you mention would pick up the slack I think the ACC with a new ACC Network could make it. But it is all about the money and right now we are outside looking in
