Let Cade start.

I think it would be the perfect time to let Cade start and finish a game. Not much to lose but much to gain. Design the game plan around his abilities and let him take the first team reps this week.

that makes the huge assumption that our coaching staff can put together an offensive game plan

I see no evidence that it can

They should look at the way GA uses Bennett. I realize the talent level is different but I could see Cade being successful in that offense.

Agree. It’s time to make some tough choices - for the team.

Why ruin his confidence with an awful play caller?

DJ has his issues, but the last three drives last night should highlight that it’s the play calls that are truly preventing us from having sustained drives. It boils down to a lack of understanding by our coaches of what down and distance they are in and dialing up the highest percentage play available to convert. We consistently find ourselves in 3rd and long because of poor calls on second down or worse, we rarely find ourselves 3rd/4th and short, and we always seem to go for a 30 yard, low percentage pass.
