I would assume my Grandfather worked with him, because he was at that facilty in TN at the same time.

Nice stories. Not buying the premise.***

The assumption lead has killed millions and dumbed people down

Nov 29, 2023, 11:20 AM

Is not played out by data from last century. Life expectancies went WAY up. Population, way up. We invented cars, flight, electricity, the internet, space travel, walked on the moon, created the atomic bomb, etc.

So if your argument is lead killed millions and dumbed down the population last century, that's a hard sell on me.

I'd argue the sugar scientists at Harvard in the 1950's have killed far more Americans than lead.

I don't know about the deaths, but the dumbing down is true.

"I'd argue the sugar scientists at Harvard in the 1950's have killed far more Americans than lead." - how is that relevant? There's lot of other things that have killed more people and no where was there a claim that lead "killed the most".

The study that was not linked in the article. Might want to read it. It's from two sociologists and is predicated wholly on the concept that lead exposure, and evidently lead exposure alone, kills people early and lowers IQ scores.

I can post a list of things claimed to lower IQ scores other than lead, but it would break Tigernet.

Also, with lead being added to gasoline in the 1920s most of all the thigns you listed had been figured out by then.
