After a 2 months hiatus, the LET is opening their 2024 Season with the Magical Kenya Ladies Open this Thursday.

We will have 2 TIGERS in the Field:
Alice Hewson
Alexandra Swayne

Alice Hewson Bio:
LET VICTORIES (1)
2020 Investec South African Women's Open.

PROFESSIONAL
In 2022, Alice played 25 events on the LET and finished 12th on the Race to Costa del sol. Alice had five top-10 and eight top-20 finishes with a best of T3 at the Joburg ladies Open and Skafto Open.
In 2021, Alice played in 17 LET events and finished 10th in the Race to Costa del Sol after recording five top-10 finishes. In the Scandinavian Mixed, Alice placed third and was the top female competitor, while the Englishwoman was also T3 at the Saudi Ladies International. Alice was the travelling reserve for Team Europe at the 2021 Solheim Cup.
In 2020, Alice finished 5th at LET Q-School at La Manga Club and started her LET career with a brilliant win in her first event, the Investec South African Women's Open at Westlake Golf Club in Cape Town in mid-March, which was the last tournament played before the coronavirus pandemic caused a global pause to competitive play. The 22-year-old came from three strokes behind Olivia Cowan to win by a stroke. Went on to play seven events in total, as well as the AIG Women's Open and recorded a top-20 at the Andalucia Open de Espana. Finished 11th on the Race to Costa del Sol and second on the 'Rookie of the Year' standings.
BIO

Alice started golf at the age of six with her Dad at Berkhamsted Golf Club. She used to walk the course with him just hitting a few chips and putts. She then started group junior lessons at Berkhamsted and played in her first tournament on her seventh birthday. Her first ever competitive shot was an air shot ? she says she completely missed the ball!

As she grew older, Alice started playing for Berkhamsted and then her county, Hertfordshire. She first entered the England set-up in regional sessions aged 12 after winning the England U13 championships. She was in the National U18 team aged 15. Her first GB&I cap came at age 15 in the Junior Vagliano Trophy. She was part of the victorious England team at the European Young Masters.

Alice represented England at the Junior European Team Championships twice and the Ladies' European teams five times. She was the only player to be part of both England teams to win the European Ladies' Team Championships in '16 and '17.

She played in three Ladies' Vagliano Trophies, two Curtis Cups and one Astor Salver and repesented England at the World Team Championships.

She attended Clemson University from 2015-2019 and studied Accounting with a minor in Legal Studies. She won her first two tournaments as a freshman, then won again in her junior and senior year. She currently holds 49 records at Clemson.

In 2019, she played in the inaugural Augusta Women's Amateur and came T10 shooting level-par in the round at Augusta National, carding double bogeys on holes 1 and 18! Also, in 2019 Alice won the European Ladies Amateur Championship, coming from seven shots behind in the final round. She made two eagles in that round and won in a five-hole playoff. The win qualified her into her first major, the AIG Women's British Open, being played at Woburn only 20 minutes from her house.

Alice was an England level swimmer and earned a silver medal in her age group at the National Championship aged 11. She represented her county and club multiple times and won the overall regional championships three times.

Alexandra Swayn Bio:
Alexandra began playing golf at the age of 12 years old. Her parents are Charles and Julianne, she has a younger sister named Leah. In her spare time, she likes to go fishing and play with her family dog, Bruce.

AMATEUR
At the age of 15, she won the Drive Chip and Putt National Championship at Augusta National Golf Club. In 2018, she was an AJGA Rolex All-American and attended Clemson University on a full scholarship. She graduated in three years.

In June 2021, she played in the U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. Finishing T91 as an amateur.

After LPGA Q school she decided that she was finished with college golf and wanted to be a professional golfer. She went to LET Q school in Spain and loved the professional environment and decided to turn pro.
