of those four kids who got killed at Kent State was yours. Can't believe that you, of all people, are this tone deaf. Those senseless killings should never be marginalized, trivialized, or made part of any joke, I don't care how much time and space has passed. The Marshall and Witchita State plane crashes were only a few years after that same time, are they nothingburgers too?

Agreed. Absolutely tone deaf and sadly not surprising from UCF. Anyone with half a brain who is associated with an official college media team is aware of why this is an absolutely awful tweet.

I’m making the point that the tweet probably wasn’t meant to be offensive, nor are the overwhelming majority of people offended by it, because most people aren’t familiar with the event.
