I know the best player plays. The times ive seen Goodrich this year he has looked good. Every game im just waiting on that holding call coming from Kendrick.

My first thought is you have no clue. My other thought is we are in deep trouble if Goodrich is ever a starter.

From watching both guys every game this season (except Wofford), Goodrich is clearly an inferior player. In my opinion, he doesn't have that much upside either.
On the other hand, DK's growth at CB after the sudden switch has been nothing short of spectacular. All CBs get beat or hold sometimes, even Terrell. DK will be our #1 CB next year and I'm looking forward to even more growth.

Kendrick > Goodrich. I understand the desire to have a CB play clean football but that is a fantasy world. In the real world, and at the highest level (NFL), WR vs CB is all about knowing what you can get away with. Just watch full film of guys like Richard Sherman or Josh Norman. They aren’t great because the play perfect coverage. They are great because they know the exact moment they need to let go of the jersey, push off, or throw their hands up. Kendrick doesn’t have the timing perfected, but he’s working on it.

Kendrick is a stud who just gets better and better. He is entrenched as the starter. He will leave a great one and will play a lot of years in the NFL.

Before the ACC championship game I saw a stat that Kendrick had played more snaps at corner than any one in the country without giving up a touchdown. That and the eye test tells me we’re playing the best guy.
