This is a little different than just a "headline." This isn't some talking head pontificating about a third Trump term, it's the president himself.
It seems odd to me that his supporters don't seem to have any sort of contrary opinion on it.

Even Beck came out and said just stop with the third term stuff in an article I read. So there is definitely push back from the right. Probably needs more pushback from republicans in Congress. I do think it's just him talking and trolling the media, but I still don't like it.

That would be good news for the Dems it would seem. They should want Trump on the ticket a 3rd time. He will have a lot of baggage after this term and the public may not want 3rd term due to his record and also just not wanting 3rd terms . He will be so old too. That's great for the Dems

I never underestimate the stupidity of the population, but what I can do is weigh the odds and what gives the Dems the best chance. As far as the election goes, I don't even have the slimmest doubt that we will have an election. You have a better chance of winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning in the same week than you do of there not being an election. Now back to reality...Trump running for a 3rd term is a weak candidate for the Dems to go against. Could he win again? Sure. The Dems can run the same election as last time and put another weak candidate out there and they could lose again.

MAGAs have no red line with Trump.
Americans do though, and if he actually tries for a 3rd term, there's no way we allow it to happen. If he keeps pushing back on the Judicial check on his power, I also think that will be a red line, but I'm less sure about that than I am about him running for a 3rd term.
