We give up 1 TD… DJ goes 15-18 for over 200 yds in the 1st half… We play a lot of young guys on D in the 2nd half…
all on 4 days rest and prep..
and we’re doomed?

Who cares if it is Week 2 and we're not playing like a championship team yet.
IDK how many times we have to rehash this on the board: Clemson generally starts slow and finishes strong.
Sure, today was a mixed bag but some folks going off the rails like we're doomed the rest of the year are looney.
We played Monday night -- Furman also has made some plays. Sometimes we aren't going to just go and blow the doors off everyone.
We are going to get better as the season goes along.

OL and WR play is very concerning...no matter what part of the season it is. It is what it is....we should be able to run and protect much better.. .especially against a team like FU @ home. Thats just the truth....
This is the type of game we needed 4-6+ more offensive drives to build game rep counts. Did we even have one 3 and out?

This team is playing with no sense of pride or heart. They look like crap. Dropping balls, the Oline collapsing, muffing punts…against Furman. But hey, keep on those orange colored glasses.

I'm not speaking for everyone here (I don't think). But the main issue with why everyone is grumpy is because a lot of these issues were not cleaned up in the off season (7 months). Oline is messy. Wide receivers still dropping easy catches. The shocker is the defense playing out of position and the screens eating us alive.
But the lone bright spot today was DJ. He played well and was probably the best player on the team today.
