Amazing how many fake quotes I've seen this week on this forum. It's like watching the media. Sensational headlines for click bait with no grounding in reality and everyone is too lazy to look at the actual source of the "quote".

DB didn't say this. Shrader didn't say he is Favre or Allen, he said he gets compared to Allen physically (they are nearly identical builds) and said he loved Favre's way of playing.

Duce said "he feels bad for Clemson" because Syracuse is planning to spoil the attempt at the home win record. Never said anything bad about Clemson. He called DJU a great player and then spoke confidently about Syracuse's defense in their chance to stop him. What is he supposed to say? More or less this is the fault of our "hometown" reporter who constantly asks questions that get responses for him to spin into clickbait.

Mikel Jones article spoke mostly introspectively about the struggles over the past few years and how those difficult times help raise you up in opportunities like this. "Why not us" isn't anything other than saying that if someone is going to upset Clemson this year, why not them. Again insinuating that Clemson is the better team.

Not a single person in Syracuse has been "smack talking" Clemson. Everyone knows this will be their most difficult challenge all year. Everyone has spoken highly of Dabo, Ship and DJU. Why does this board need so much fake fuel for the fire. Can't you just get excited that this is a historical game in DV wish both teams the best and that your team wins? Most Syracuse fans root for Clemson in every other game they play because Clemson has been the standard bearer and we recognize their value in the conference. We FINALLY have a season we can enjoy and if we can win this game then this has the makings of a really special season. Everyone in Syracuse knows that and are excited. Clemson would also benefit from a stronger Syracuse especially with the divisions going away.
